The brand itself was a little “stuck in the ‘90s.” And most people thought of them as a great spot for a sweet treat rather than a healthy boost.
With an aesthetic overhaul and a shift in tone, we helped transform that perception for a new era.
The results were phenomenal. Not only did the brand start attracting younger, health-minded consumers, but they also caught the eye of Focus Brands – one of the world’s leading developers of multi-channel food service brands – who acquired Jamba for a little bit more than the cost of a smoothie bowl.

 

Shareworthy Social

For Jamba Juice we managed all social platforms and created custom content including photography, video, animated GIFs and more. We also handled community management, putting out fires before they could start and amplifying positive interactions to ensure they got the attention they deserved.

Interactive Instagram Stories

I’m always looking for ways to be a bit disruptive and create something unexpected. That’s what we did with a series of interactive Instagram Stories that “hacked” the in-platform user experience and let fans do things like build a smoothie and ensure their Mango Levels are legit.

#NationalSmoothieDay

June 21 is National Smoothie Day, and if anyone should “own” that day, it’s Jamba Juice. So we made it happen.

We created a one-of-a-kind social contest that challenged our fans to be the #first person to comment on any of our 100 posts that day for a chance to win a summer’s supply of smoothies. With only a few hundred bucks of paid boost, we received over 15k comments (one new comment every 3 seconds) and over 35k likes (48 per minute) over a 12-hour period.

With other efforts across email, display and PR, we made Jamba synonymous with #NationalSmoothieDay and earned a 96% share of voice.
